Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking Bank Healthcare Assistants to join the Avalon Centre in Swindon. After a paid two-week induction, you’ll access available shifts with a 12.07% uplift for annual leave, plus benefits such as free meals on duty and free parking.

Shifts include 12.5-hour periods with zero-hour contracts, offering freedom to select preferred weeks. Experience as Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker is valued, and you’ll support adults with neurological conditions at the Avalon Centre,

Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker wanting control and flexibility to work the shifts you want?

There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you'll have the shifts at the Avalon secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.

What you will be doing

You will join the team that works well together to provide care for people with Neurologicalconditions. Whether you are currently a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you'll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

You will be working at The Avalon Centre, a purpose built neurological centre for men and women over the age of 18 years, who have an acquired brain injury.

The centre has been designed specifically to support people with Neurological conditions, because of their injury, have challenging and complex needs and require a neurobehavioral rehabilitation programme.
