Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Bank Healthcare Assistant to join Clipstone House in Mansfield. You will work on a zero-hour contract with flexible shifts, including days, nights and weekends, and you can book shifts via an app.

Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker wanting control and flexibility to work the shifts you want?

Whether you’re looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if you’re an experienced Healthcare Assistant in the UK you can join our staff bank and, after completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available shifts at Clipstone House in Mansfield plus the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.

There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the shifts at Clipstone House secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.

What You Will Be Doing

You will join the team that works well together to provide care for people with Mental Health conditions. Whether you are currently a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working

Location: First Avenue, Clipstone Mansfield NG21 9DA

You will be working at a service which is in the heart of the local community. Clipstone House consists of six bespoke, single-person apartments within a registered care setting with 24 hour nursing.

Working in a robust environment with a high intensity care model, you will provide care and support to people with highly complex needs and behaviours. This includes people who may be stepping down from hospital or whose community placements have broken down.
