This is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Hand Therapist to join our Bank at Worthing Hospital at Band 6 and Band 7.
We are looking for Hand Therapists with proven experience of working in this specialist setting to work in our out patient service.
The hours are flexible to meet service demand.
This is open to Physio and Occupational Therapists with Hand Therapy experience
To be the lead in providing highly specialist Therapy interventions as part of an evidence based, flexible and patient-centred approach, working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to meet the health and social care needs of people who are referred to our services.
To perform an advanced therapy role for patients referred to the Hand Therapy service with complex and highly complex health and social care needs.
To provide supervision and leadership for relevant junior and senior members of staff.
To participate in and facilitate the planning, development and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services within the Hand Therapy specialist team, holding responsibility for defined projects.
To provide supervision and training for students on practice placement
To provide leadership, supervision and professional consultation, guidance and advice to designated specialist team.
