Job overview

The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic Nurses to join our pool of Staff Bank workers. Many full-time roles are available, but roles vary and will be confirmed after your recruitment process. Higher banding/rates may be discussed based on experience.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team, including delegated tasks from ward managers. Successful completion of foundation gateway is required, and post holders may take charge of wards within professional guidelines.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and carers. Prioritize nursing tasks, document care in accordance with guidelines, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Respect patients' cultural and spiritual needs, support patients and carers, assist with medication administration, develop clinical skills, involve patients in care planning, and ensure effective communication within the team.
