£12.21 per hour

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a General Cleaning Assistant at Retirement Communities Service at Greenwich Gardens, Derby.

The role of General Assistant will include:

  • Working with residents, families and staff to maintain high standards of comfort in line with cleaning requirements
  • Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment
  • Maintaining stock levels, re-stocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes
  • Assisting with private room cleans and laundry service, as and when required
  • Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard

Skills and experiences:

  • Some experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is essential
  • Experience within accommodation support services is desirable
  • A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • NVQ Level 2 in housekeeping/catering, or willing to work towards
