A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for flexible staff for their Catering Department. We are seeking flexible staff for a bank contract within the Catering Department at University Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The department provides food and beverages to patients at our St. Richards and Worthing Sites.
Role Overview: As part of the kitchen production team, you will assist in producing and supplying ambient, chilled, and frozen meals to patients. You will work in the main production kitchen at St. Richards, supported by chefs, assistants, and management to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
Responsibilities include:
Candidate Requirements: Knowledge of food hygiene principles, good food hygiene practices, and health and safety within a kitchen environment. Manual dexterity and ability to work in chilled/frozen conditions are essential.
