Bank Finance Reporter
GlobalCapital, the capital markets news and data service, is looking for a journalist to contribute to its coverage of the bond market for public sector issuers. They will work alongside a section editor covering the financial institutions bond market, producing the full range of editorial content for that section. They will also be an ambassador for the organisation within the capital markets.

The Bank FInance Reporter will report to the Bank Finance Editor
Key Relationships
Works with reporters and editors covering the bank finance markets to produce coverage.
Has strong relationships with key people in and around capital markets to provide the sharpest and most insightful coverage. That means having the ability to call people in the market directly rather than having to rely upon press teams and other such gatekeepers.
Works with the marketing and production teams to make sure their coverage reaches the biggest possible audience, presented in the best way achievable.
Works with subscriptions sales team to help drive GlobalCapital’s subscriber growth, within appropriate boundaries of editorial independence.
Candidate Profile/Requirements
Deep knowledge of and experience of covering the primary bond markets.
A proven ability to build trusted relationships with sources.
Experience of running a section within a newspaper or perhaps a mini-site as part of a larger brand, including training and managing other reporters with a track record of developing successful journalists.
Ability to lead from the front in driving market leading coverage
Attention to detail and impeccable standards of accuracy.
Comfortable working with numbers and data.
Ability to work under own direction.
Willingness to travel abroad and work outside of regular hours when required.
