A leading healthcare provider seeks a compassionate Support Worker in Plymouth to assist an individual living with Motor Neurone Disease. This rewarding role focuses on maintaining independence through daily support, facilitating family engagements, and enriching activities. Support Worker
Pay rate: £14.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Bank position. 8am-8pm Days & 8pm-8am Nights
We have a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated personal Support Worker to assist an individual living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in Plymouth. This role focuses on providing support in daily life, helping maintain independence, and enabling the individual to care for their children and engage in family activities.
The support includes outings such as soft play, parks, and cinema visits. To facilitate trips, candidates should be local to Plymouth, know the area well, and be able to drive a mobility vehicle (days only) with a full UK Driving Licence.
Enriching activities are a key part of the support, and an empathetic approach is essential to make a positive difference. Prior experience in the following areas is preferred:

What will your shift involve?
You will provide high-quality care on a 2:1 basis, ensuring compassionate and tailored support. Clear communication in the individual’s preferred manner is crucial to building trust.
