Job description

Bank Female Support Worker

Location:Hedge End, Southampton
Salary:£12.47 per hour plus benefits
Hours:0 hrs, shifts are between 7AM and 10PM, Monday to Sunday, on a shift rota basis.
Contract:Part-time, Bank
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is preferable but not essential

At Stewards Bungalow, we support an extraordinary lady with autism who is non-verbal but communicates fluently using British Sign Language (BSL). Her ability to express herself through BSL is inspiring, and we seek someone who can match her energy and precision, letter by letter.

This role is more than just a job. As a Support Worker, you will be a vital part of a team dedicated to delivering outstanding, person-centred care. You’ll help her live life independently, confidently, and joyfully.

Essential Criteria

To be considered, you should demonstrate experience in at least two of the following areas:

  • Autism and Learning Disabilities
  • Visual Impairment
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
