A leading healthcare provider is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented registered practitioner to join their Endoscopy team. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and care throughout the endoscopy process, from pre-admission to discharge. The ideal candidate will have experience in Endoscopy services and a passion for high-quality patient care.
The role will be to teamwork under the coordination of the Endoscopy Nurse in Charge and provide the best possible experience for patients.You will participate in the entire pathway for patients from pre-admission to procedure, then recovery and discharge. EPs contribute to the safe and effective working of their Unit and support CQC and JAG GRS activities and accreditation.
Complete clinical tasks depending upon supervising and contributing to training in othersCan carry out site intravenous access when admitting patients requesting sedation, when competentContribute to the teams tasks to ensure that the endoscopy list flows smoothly and efficiently and according to CHEC Endoscopy SOP and other PoliciesPrepare clinical areas for clinical activities dailyParticipate in CQC and JAG accreditation and continuing competency training requirements through the JETs frameworkHave a passion for patient care: compassionate nurses with an appreciation of patients care-needs, first class communication skillsAttention to detail and an eagerness and ability to learnGood listening abilities and logical thought processesGood team-working

To be successful in this role you will need:Registered practitioner with the NMC or HCPCAt least 1-year previous experience as registered practitioner or equivalent in Endoscopy serviceExperience with JAG accreditationPassion for high quality patient safety and careEducated to degree level or equivalent level of experience
