Job summary

Spire Little Aston Hospital in the Midlands is recruiting an Endoscopy Practitioner to join the Endoscopy team on a flexible bank basis in Sutton Coldfield. You will assist with cleaning and decontamination of endoscopes and support traceability, while handling equipment and stock tasks.

The role involves working in a hospital environment with strong teamwork, a caring approach, and hospital-based experience. Weekly pay, competitive rates, and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

  • ENDO1 course is required.
  • Experience working in Endoscopy and decontamination is essential.
  • Must work well in a team and have a caring demeanour.
  • Hospital experience is essential and strong communication skills are expected.

Responsibilities

  • To assist the Endoscopy team by cleaning and decontaminating endoscopes and ensuring traceability.
  • Operate decontamination equipment, manage stock, and handle heavy sets and reusable devices.

Spire Little Aston Hospital have a fantastic opportunity for anEndoscopy Practitioner to join our friendly Endoscopy team.


Spire Little Aston Hospital is a leading private hospital in the Midlands, offering comprehensive hospital care to patients from Birmingham and the surrounding areas of the West Midlands and Staffordshire. The hospital has an exceptional reputation within a variety of specialties including Orthopaedics, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Cosmetics, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology, General Surgery & Physiotherapy.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • To assist the Endoscopy team to provide exemplary care in the Endoscopy Department by cleaning and decontamination of endoscopes and its traceability.

  • Operation of decontamination equipment, pushing and pulling trolley, stock control, lifting heavy sets and processing reusable medical devices.


Who we're looking for:


  • Must have ENDO1 Course

  • Experience working in Endoscopy and Decontamination is essential.

  • Someone who can work in a team and has a caring demeanour.

  • Hospital experience is essential

  • Strong communication skills.
