About the role
As a Bank Enabling Support Worker, your role will be to provide support and encouragement, taking direction from both the person supported and the person-centred support plan.
You will need to maintain accurate records in line with service requirements and may be required to administer personal care and medication.
There will be opportunities to cover sleep-in sessions, with an additional pay of £60 per sleep-in.
Shaftesbury West provides person-centred care and support, enabling adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, including dementia, to live as independently as possible. We offer various independent living services, ranging from daytime to 24-hour sleep-in care and support. Shaftesbury West is an independent living service operated by Shaftesbury, a disability charity that connects people with their communities.
Shaftesbury Independent Living specializes in providing flexible, client-driven care, health, and inclusion services for people with diverse needs and living situations. Support can be for as little as an hour or two, or up to 24 hours a day, helping people engage with life and their communities.
