This vacancy offers a great opportunity to join a dedicated team working across all three East Sussex Urgent Care Units. The role is primarily based at Lewes Urgent Treatment Centre, with additional responsibilities at Uckfield and Crowborough Minor Injury Units.
We are seeking Registered Nurses or Paramedics with a post-registration Practitioner qualification and experience in Urgent Care. Candidates should be able to work autonomously, adapt to a fast-paced and evolving service, and provide excellent clinical care to patients.

The role involves working within the Sussex Community Foundation Trust Urgent Care and MIU Units, following local, national, and NICE guidelines to triage, assess, and treat patients. The post-holder will provide assessments for patients presenting with injuries or illnesses, requiring qualifications in either area.
This position requires autonomous clinical assessment and treatment skills, including redirecting inappropriate attendances and ensuring safe patient transfers. The post-holder will contribute to the overall management of the Units, including staff supervision, education, and training support.
