A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our clinical team on a casual (Bank) arrangement. The successful candidate will provide a full range of dental care expected within an NHS unscheduled care appointment. This will include adults and children presenting with an urgent dental issue . All necessary care to address the presenting complaint should in most circumstances be provided within a single appointment, or where this is not possible, to arrange an appropriate referral or pathway for them to receive the appropriate treatment.
You will be given paid time to complete any administrative tasks at the end of the session, which also helps to ensure a timely finish.
You will need to work closely and collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff and may be required to assist with closing down and building security when working outside of core PCDS hours.
Successful applicants will be expected to provide evidence of, or asked to complete relevant mandatory training relevant to the role in order to remain compliant to remain active on the bank. You will need to complete this outside of any allocated sessions.
Sessions will be paid generously on an hourly basis and will not be linked to UDAs. Sessions will generally run from 18:00-21:00 on weekday evenings, but there may on occasions be flexibility to suit individual circumstances.
