Job summary

The Old Vicarage in Grange-over-Sands is seeking Bank Day & Night Care Assistants to provide compassionate personal care to residents in a warm, family-led home.

You will work flexible day and night shifts, supporting daily activities, updating care plans, and ensuring safety and dignity. Full training provided; a driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous care home or home care experience is advantageous but not required; full training provided.
• Driving licence desirable for outings or transport.
• Strong English communication skills are essential for interactions with residents and staff.
• Basic IT skills for recording care and updating plans are required.
• Able to work across day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Compassionate and person-centred approach to care.

Responsibilities
