Join the NHS as a Bank Coordinator and leverage your communication and administration skills in a flexible role. This is an opportunity to support the Out Of Hours service in Devon, providing vital coordination and support during shifts, with training and career progression opportunities available.
Looking for a way to make the most of your communication, organisation, and administration skills? Join the team supporting our Out Of Hours (in Devon), and you'll get a flexible choice of hours, plus the chance to develop your career.
As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff. By bringing together NHS 111 call centres, clinical assessment, and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care when they need it. It's better for everyone.
As a Bank Coordinator at our OOH service, you'll be a single point of contact and liaison for all members of this multidisciplinary team, as well as other internal and external services. You’ll provide coordination and support to ensure the smooth running of shifts and respond swiftly and efficiently if there's any breakdown in the service. This could include making comfort/safety calls to patients when required.
This is a Bank role that enables you to choose to accept the shifts you want. However, to support our Out Of Hours services, we expect you to be available to work around 15 hours a week, across evenings and weekends. We are very keen to consider anyone interested in overnight work for the Bank Coordinator position and would like people to be able to cover 11 pm - 8 am hours.
