We are looking for a Bank Chef to join the team at New Elmcroft in Shoreham by Sea. You will work with a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, comparable to what we would expect for our own family members. New Elmcroft has an excellent reputation as a highly valued care provider, with residents' needs at the center of our daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
  • Catering to diverse dietary needs and cultural preferences.
  • Catering for celebrations and events within the home.
  • Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policies, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
  • Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP standards.
  • Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and local authorities.
  • Maintaining high hygiene standards in the kitchen, following HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  • Supporting a safe and healthy working environment by complying with Health & Safety regulations.
