Overview

Are you looking for a new challenge with better hours, no split shifts, and paid enhancements for working weekend? This vacancy is for a flexible Bank Cook to join Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust based throughout Hull and East Riding. We are looking for staff that are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our teams. The post will be cooking and serving lunches and evening meals for our Inpatient Units. The post holder will require to be flexible and work as part of a team over a 7-day period (including weekends) on an as and when required basis in the provision of a high-quality, cost-effective cooking service in accordance with statutory legislation and Trust Policies regarding Health & Safety and Hygiene. The post holder will need to be able to commute effectively across Trust sites and the geographical area.

As a cook you will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
