Job Title: Complex Care Assistant

Join our growing team in Maidstone, Kent, to help people live rewarding and fulfilled lives in their own homes. We are offering flexible part-time shifts, starting with just a few hours each week.

Job Overview
  • Location: Maidstone and surrounding area
  • Hourly Rate: £15.00 to £16.83
  • Shifts available: Part-time, flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends
Eligibility Criteria
  • Previous care experience is essential.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
  • Full UK driving licence is required to operate a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV).
Role Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide complex care support to clients with severe traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviors. Our clients enjoy engaging with the community, and your role will involve providing high-level care and facilitating access to social activities. You will meet clients and their families beforehand to ensure you're well-prepared for the role.

Responsibilities
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Accompanying clients to social events, shopping, etc.
  • Performing basic household chores
  • Assisting with moving and handling
  • Providing PEG, Tracheostomy, Catheter, and Stoma care (training provided)
Requirements
  • Genuine empathy and caring nature
  • Ability to work well in a team
