Our Pharmacists are an integral part of the patient care plan, providing opportunities to interact with patients across various departments to assess their pharmaceutical needs, review medication history, current prescriptions, and relevant clinical data.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care, treating patients with empathy and compassion.
  • Provide advice and support to consultants, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines throughout the hospital.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and consultants to improve patient outcomes.
  • Suggest new processes or equipment to enhance health outcomes and safety.
  • Spend most of your time on the Ward supporting patients with discharge medicines, counseling on side effects, and medication intake requirements.
  • Support the onsite Prescribing Resident Doctor.
  • Focus primarily on Ward patient support, with minimal dispensary duties.

Who we're looking for:

  • Degree-qualified Pharmacists.
  • Current GPhC registration.
  • Excellent communication skills for ward interactions.

We offer competitive rates to our bank colleagues, with flexible working options often covering busy periods, sickness, or leave.
