Job Description
Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity working as a Children and Family Support Worker in Warrington.
This role is a 0-hour contract, with the potential for more hours as the role develops.
This flexible role involves supporting children, families, and carers within their homes and communities, often in times of crisis. Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, providing mentoring, and helping young people and families navigate challenges.
The position offers variety, including helping families in hospital, conducting supervised contact, or supporting young people's confidence and safety.
If you seek flexible working, want to earn while you learn, or need extra income, this role is ideal. You can choose hours that fit your commitments or take additional shifts.
We seek resilient, passionate, adaptable team players who are kind, compassionate, and able to challenge when necessary.
Experience working with children or young people is preferred but not mandatory; our supportive team will guide you. Your first shift can be a shadow shift.
This community-based role requires travel around North West, North Wales, and surrounding areas. A driving license and access to a car are helpful; we reimburse mileage expenses.
As the role involves working with vulnerable children and young people, an Enhanced DBS check on the update service is required. We cover the cost of training.
