Are you our next Chef Manager? Here’s more about the role:

Mealtimes are a significant part of the day in our care home. We’re seeking a Chef Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy kitchen, manage an Assistant Chef and a team of Catering Assistants.

Your responsibilities include preparing and cooking meals to meet residents' dietary needs, managing stock and waste, maintaining cleanliness within budget, conducting risk assessments, and recruiting and training staff.

You will have daily interactions with residents, visitors, and colleagues; therefore, we’re looking for someone friendly, approachable, and passionate.

Experience catering for older people's dietary requirements and a valid food hygiene certificate are essential.
