Bank Chef

LOCATION: Leeds

SALARY: up to £14.93 per hour

HOURS: BANK

Brainkind is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. Our assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to support individuals in regaining lost skills. We treat a range of brain injuries caused by trauma, illness, substance abuse, and more, helping patients recover and achieve their personal goals. The Role:

As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring a high standard of service during all meal times.
  2. Reporting any equipment defects to the Service Manager.
  3. Supervising catering functions within the Service, preparing home-cooked meals for residents, including catering for blended diets, following staff instructions.
  4. Adhering to all statutory requirements and best practices as mandated by relevant authorities.
  5. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with legislation related to the Service's registration.
  6. Communicating with residents to meet their dietary needs.
  7. Supporting and promoting the decisions and initiatives of the Manager.
  8. Performing any reasonable duties assigned by senior staff to ensure the smooth running of the Service.
  9. Auditing compliance with standards within the kitchen, ensuring health and hygiene standards are maintained.
