Rossendale are recruiting for a bank cook to join their catering team! We are looking for passionate people, who can promote healthy eating and provide varied meals that meet the required care standards and contribute to the wellbeing of our Children and Young People.

Rossendale is a day school catering for the needs of pupils who are autistic and academically able. All pupils have a draft or final Education, Health and Care Plan. The School provides education for young people aged from 7 to 18 years of age.
Due to the location and requirements of the role, all applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.
A Level 3 qualification or equivalent is an essential requirement, as well as previous experience preparing and cooking meals gained within a professional kitchen environment along with the following characteristics:
Communication: Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation: You will need to be confident and organised in updating menus, dietary requirements and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.
Attentive: No young person is the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important.
