Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Bank Chef to join the team at Sycamore Lodge. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our goal is to provide the highest standard of care, treating our service users as we would our own family members. Sycamore Lodge has an excellent reputation as a highly valued care provider, with the needs of our residents at the heart of everything we do.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for residents and others in a timely manner.
• Catering to diverse dietary needs, including cultural preferences.
• Catering for celebrations and events at our Home.
• Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policies, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
• Maintaining accurate catering records in line with HACCP standards.
• Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and Local Authorities.
• Ensuring high hygiene standards in the kitchen by following HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
• Supporting a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
• Managing the Catering Team effectively.

Salary: £16.33 per hour

Working Hours: 0-hour contract - As/When required
