We are looking for a Bank Chef to join our team at Prestemede. You will work with a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, treating our service users as we would our own family members. Prestemede has an excellent reputation as a valued provider of care, with the needs of our residents at the heart of everything we do.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking, and serving meals in a timely manner for residents and others as required.
• Catering to cultural dietary preferences and providing a varied diet.
• Catering for celebrations and events within the home.
• Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
• Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and local authorities.
• Maintaining high hygiene standards in the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
• Supporting a safe and healthy working environment by following Health & Safety protocols.
• Managing the catering team effectively.

Salary: £12.70 per hour

Working Hours: Bank Contract - As/When
