We are looking for a Bank Chef to join the team at Plas Cae Crwn. You will work with a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, treating our service users as we would our own family members. Plas Cae Crwn has an excellent reputation as a valued provider of care, with the needs of our residents at the core of all we do.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
  • Catering to a varied diet, including cultural preferences of our service users.
  • Catering for celebrations and events within the Home.
  • Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
  • Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP standards.
  • Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and Local Authorities.
  • Maintaining high hygiene standards within the kitchen by following HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  • Supporting the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to Health & Safety and Welfare policies.
