Bank Chef - £13.10 per hour

We are looking for a Bank Chef to join our team at Maes-Y-Dderwen. You will work with a dedicated team committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our residents. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, treating our residents as we would our own family members. Maes-Y-Dderwen is a highly regarded care provider, with residents' needs at the heart of all we do.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist, and staff to provide high-quality, fresh, home-cooked meals daily.
  2. Establish rapport with residents and their families to meet dietary needs and preferences.
  3. Prepare, cook, and serve meals in a timely manner.
  4. Cater to cultural dietary preferences and special occasions.
  5. Order supplies within budget and company guidelines, using approved suppliers when the senior cook is unavailable.
  6. Maintain accurate catering records in line with HACCP standards.
  7. Participate in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and Local Authorities.
  8. Ensure high hygiene standards in the kitchen by following HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  9. Support a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to Health & Safety policies.
  10. Manage the Catering Team effectively.

Salary: £13.10 per hour

Working Hours: Bank Contract
