Role Description

Priory Hospital East Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, is a 28-bed specialist acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) for adult females. It is conveniently located near the M1 motorway, making it accessible for patients and staff. The service offers specialized assessment and treatment to help patients return to local services or suitable accommodation. It comprises 2 female acute wards and 1 female PICU ward.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals, considering any special requests or dietary requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety policies, guidelines, and statutory regulations.
  • Manage stock control efficiently, including ordering food and reconciling deliveries.
  • Monitor food production to minimize waste.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
