Job description

Role: Bank Chef

The responsibilities of the Bank Chef include:

  1. Delivering high-quality, versatile catering services tailored to customers' needs, including special diets.
  2. Managing food and labor budgets through careful planning, purchasing, and control of supplies to ensure menu delivery within budget.
  3. Receiving, amending orders, managing food stock locations, conducting audits, and inputting weekly labor and daily cash records within specified timeframes.
  4. Managing the Food Safety Management System and ensuring team understanding and compliance.
  5. Scheduling cleaning and maintenance routines for all food service areas and equipment to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
  6. Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
  7. Supervising and developing staff members.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous catering experience and cooking for diverse groups.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality.
  • Valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Knowledge of online catering software.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Experience in setting and managing budgets.
  • Friendly, approachable attitude capable of interacting with customers, visitors, and colleagues.
