Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Bank Catering Assistant to join the team at Greenhill. You will work under the direction of the Cook as part of a Catering Team to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals for residents. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of care, treating our service users as we would our own family.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting the chef with food preparation
• Independently preparing hot meals and sandwiches for residents
• Loading and unloading dishwashers and washing equipment unsuitable for dishwashers
• Cleaning kitchen and equipment
• Collecting and distributing crockery to/from care floors
• Clearing tea trolleys
• Emptying kitchen rubbish and maintaining a clean environment
• Carrying out reasonable requests from Senior Chef/Chef
• Ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met
• Complying with Health & Safety policies and regulations

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Working Hours: Zero-hour contract, as and when required
