Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Bank Catering Assistant to join the team at Danybryn. Our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we care for, providing high standards of care that we would want for our own families. Danybryn has an excellent reputation as a valued provider of care, with residents' needs at the heart of everything we do.

You will work under the guidance of the Cook, collaborating as part of the Catering Team to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals for residents.

Duties Include:

• Assist the chef with food preparation
• Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents
• Load and unload dishwashers, wash equipment unsuitable for dishwashers
• Clean kitchen and equipment
• Collect and distribute crockery to and from care floors
• Clear tea trolleys as needed
• Empty kitchen rubbish and maintain a clean environment
• Ensure a hygienic environment is maintained
• Follow reasonable instructions from the Senior Chef or Chef
• Meet the nutritional needs of residents
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and regulations

Full training will be provided, including leadership development opportunities within Shaw Healthcare.

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Working Hours: Bank contract - as/when required
