Position: Bank Catering Assistant - £12.30 per hour

Working Hours: Bank 0-hour contracts, shifts between 8:00 and 16:30

We are looking for a Bank Catering Assistant to join our team at Burleys Wood in Crawley. You will work with a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of our service users, providing high standards of care and service.

Under the direction of the Cook, you will work as part of a catering team to prepare and serve delicious, home-cooked meals to residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the chef with food preparation
• Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents
• Load and unload dishwashers, wash equipment unsuitable for dishwashers
• Clean kitchen and equipment
• Collect and distribute crockery to/from care floors
• Clear tea trolleys as needed
• Empty kitchen rubbish and maintain a clean environment
• Ensure nutritional needs of residents are met
• Comply with health and safety policies and regulations
