About the Team

We are seeking creative, enthusiastic, and flexible Catering Assistants to work across two sites in Bath and Midsomer Norton on a bank/casual basis:

• Combe Lea Residential Care Home, Midsomer Norton.
• Cleeve Court Residential Care Home, Twerton, Bath.

You can work flexibly, choosing shifts that suit you; work for a day here and there, opt for longer-term bookings, or select evenings or weekends only. Shifts are not guaranteed as this is a bank/casual role.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with transportation and delivery of food from the kitchen.
• Washing and drying catering equipment and crockery.
• Supporting the team in serving food and drinks to service users and others as directed.
• Cleaning dining and kitchen areas.
• Setting up dining spaces.
• Ensuring sufficient supplies of clean crockery, cutlery, and utensils for each meal.
• Communicating effectively with care staff, service users, and visitors.
• Working proactively both as part of a team and independently.
