Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support the chefs in preparing meals, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and assisting with deliveries.

It’s a calm and enjoyable working environment where you can manage your workload and take pleasure in creating delicious meals. The role also offers a great social aspect, allowing regular interaction with people outside the kitchen.

As a Bank Catering Assistant, you will be:

• Assisting catering staff with meal preparation and cooking, following company policies and procedures.
• Serving food and beverages to service users, staff, and visitors.
• Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Ensuring all areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
• Meeting operational hygiene standards and complying with company policies in the kitchen and related areas.
• Liaising with the wider team, including dietitians, regarding dietary and planned meals.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Location: The Woodmill, Exeter Road, Cullompton, EX151EA. The Woodmill is a mental health service for women requiring rehabilitation to support their reintegration into the community, addressing conditions such as personality disorders, Autism, and related challenges.
