We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team on a bank (zero hours) basis. You will play a vital role in supporting our residents and helping us maintain excellent standards of care. As an integral part of our close-knit team, you will promote the values and ethos of our home.
What We Offer
What You’ll Do
You will assist residents with their daily routines, from personal care to encouraging independence. You will follow personalised care plans, paying close attention to individual needs. Monitoring residents’ health and communicating concerns to nursing staff will be important, as will helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
You will uphold the dignity and respect of every resident, supporting social interactions and creating a warm, welcoming environment. Working alongside housekeepers, you will help maintain a safe, comfortable living space and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells. You will also assist residents with eating and drinking as needed, ensuring their nutritional needs are met. Above all, you will bring joy and smiles to residents’ lives every day.
