Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster

Contract Type: Bank (0-hour contract) - flexible hours to suit you

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am (no fixed rota)

Pay Rate: £14.12 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

• Basic hourly rate: £12.60
• Holiday pay: £1.52 (12.07% holiday uplift)
  
  

About the Role:

Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join the bank team at Ashton Manor, our state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
  
  

Experience Required:

• Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
