Job description

This is a bank care assistant role at the Cedar View Care Centre in Croydon, Surrey. The care home is a 65-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care facility that has received a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is highly rated by residents and their families. The role involves providing compassionate care and support to the residents in their everyday lives.

Main duties of the job

As a bank care assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the residents of the Cedar View Care Centre with their daily activities and personal care needs. This may include assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. You will also be expected to engage with residents, promote their independence, and contribute to a positive and nurturing environment. The role requires a compassionate and empathetic approach, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality care.
