Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Assistant Chef at our CQC Registered Mental Health Scheme, Sidegate Lane, Ipswich.

The role of Bank Assistant Chef will include:

· Delivering a high-quality versatile catering service that caters for our customers’ individual needs, including special diets

· Assisting with the planning and creation of nutritionally balanced meals for our customers

· Promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards

· Maintaining current risk assessments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard

· Ability to work alone, in absence of Chef Manager

· Monitoring and ordering stock and receiving deliveries for the service

Skills and experiences:

· Previous experience of working in a catering environment is essential along with experience of cooking for various groups of people

· Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures and operation of catering equipment is essential

· Friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to interact with our customers, visitors, and colleagues

· Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality, or knowledge at an equivalent level
