Overview

Are you a passionate Registered Nurse, with experience or a keen interest in IV Therapy?

Due to business growth, we are looking to expand our Advice Line within our Nursing department. As a Bank Advice Line Nurse you will instantly become a valued member of our Nursing team, providing nurses with specialist advice whilst they are providing an essential service to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for Nurses who offer flexibility to work a mixture of shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. It will involve home-working and the candidate location is flexible across England.

Fresenius Kabi is a global healthcare company that specializes in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition. The company's products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients.

Our product portfolio included a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.

Responsibilities
  • Work within the busy Advice Line team, supporting our field-based Nurses, patients and external customers
  • Assess, plan and implement consistent current evidence-based care to ensure safe clinical practice for patients and carers, aligning with internal and external validated protocols, guidelines, NMC code of conduct and revalidation
  • Provide timely support and advice, adhering to the agreed standard operating policy and reporting process
  • Compile written reports in a timely, factual, and objective manner to ensure accurate responses and processes are followed to maintain a high standard of patient care and safety
  • Consistently deliver against protocols and guidelines as agreed with referring hospital/clinician/nurse specialist, ensuring standardised and current evidence based clinical practice
  • Maintain personal and professional development and mandatory training in line with business requirements, NMC code of conduct and revalidation requirements
  • Work collaboratively within the team and company to share and develop current evidence best practice, up to date information and delivering on objectives and business requirements
