A leading hospital in London seeks a Bank / Adhoc Paediatric Anaesthetic Registrar to support Consultant Anaesthetists in delivering high-quality care to paediatric surgical patients. The role involves assisting in theatre, recovery, and ward settings while enabling strategic growth in children's services. The hospital is developing its paediatric services further to provide a day case surgical pathway from April 2025! We are initially treating minor and moderate complexity surgery, for clinically well children, above the age of 3.
Successful applicant will be expected to be onsit. Theirprimary role will be to support the Consultant Anaesthetists, who provideprimary care to the paediatric surgical patients. It is expected that the onsite paediatricanaesthetist will support the Consultant Anaesthetist in theatre, recovery andthe wards. Of note, the post holder willbe directly responsible and supervised by the relevant ConsultantAnaesthetist.
St John & St Elizabeth Hospital has an ever-increasing paediatric demand within its Urgent Care Centre, as well as within its dedicated paediatric outpatient department.
