Job Summary

This post holder will be responsible for the operational management of all aspects of the Community Diagnostic Centre at Finchley Memorial Hospital. The post holder will work with senior clinical leaders and managers to drive and deliver excellent management leadership, support, and capacity.

Main Duties of the Job

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage operational staff within the CDC.
  • Provide senior management leadership in supporting the CDC's contribution to the Divisional and Trust agenda and national plan, within the clinical and corporate governance frameworks of the Trust.
  • In association with the Clinical Directors, be accountable to the Divisional Board for financial performance relating to delegated budgets for which this post is responsible and the operational performance of the directorate/s providing reports to the Divisional Board as required.
  • Provide senior management leadership in leading on Quality Safety experience and effectiveness for the directorate.
  • Promote world class care and work in a way that is patient-centred, involves service users, responds positively to feedback from user groups and promotes teamwork across services.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality, openness and accountability, public service, and teamwork in an environment of flexibility in which innovation can flourish in response to patients' needs.
  • Support and manage the directorate to meet Trust and Monitor performance objectives.
  • Develop appraisal, objective-setting, and performance development plans for all relevant staff.
