As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust to find an experienced and dedicated Band 8b Clinical Psychologistwho will be based in Preston, providing a comprehensive specialistCommunity Pain & ME/CFS service.This is an exciting opportunity to provide a highly specialist psychological service to support and enhance the psychological care of patients with persistent pain as well as supporting and enhancing the work of the Moving Well Pain and ME/CFS multi-disciplinary team.

Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful Psychologyteams in the country. This role is ideally open toboth full and part time hours with a3 month duration initially.

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist
• Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent as accredited by the BPS
• Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of patients across a range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and in patient settings.
• Substantial assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist at senior level
• Full UK Drivers License & Access to a car
• Right to live and work in the UK/Ireland
