Job Description:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Senior Specialist Pharmacist, Haematology/Oncology in Central London. The successful Pharmacist will be required to work full-time. This role is available to start ASAP; the pay rate for this job is up to £39.00 per hour.

Position: Senior Specialist Pharmacist – Haematology/Oncology

Banding: 8a

Location : Central London

Hours: 37.5

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 Months

Essential skills:

  • GPhC registered.
  • 2 Years NHS experience.

Duties:

  • To be an expert in pharmaceutical matters for the treatment of childhood cancer.
  • To be a member of a team of specialist pharmacists delivering a comprehensive clinicalpharmacy service to the Haematology and Oncology Departments.
  • To manage and further develop the ward based pharmacy service on the InpatientHaematology/Oncology wards.
  • To promote and contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals.
  • To promote and contribute to the education and training of staff working or rotating throughthe Cytotoxics unit.
