The post holder will, under the supervision of the Lead Clinical Psychologist, provide highly specialist psychological assessment and treatment to patients, and support and consult with non-psychologist colleagues. Outpatient caseload will include neurodevelopmental and paediatric liaison cases, involving triage, individual, and family interventions. The role includes conducting cognitive neuropsychological assessments and contributing to service development. There may also be opportunities to collaborate with the Royal Free Hospital children's diabetes team and contribute to service development in CAMHS & diabetes.

The post holder should have the necessary experience to work at this senior level and will contribute to ADHD & Autism assessment pathways, working alongside other psychologists and supervising an assistant psychologist in family liaison and database management. The caseload will involve children and young people with neurodevelopmental mental health difficulties and/or medical conditions.
Additionally, there are opportunities to work with the Royal Free Hospital children's diabetes team, providing support for children, young people, and families living with Type 1, Type 2, MODY, and other types of diabetes, aged 0-19. Building strong relationships with paediatric staff, including paediatricians, clinical nurse specialists, and dieticians, is essential.
This role will appeal to a clinical psychologist with post-qualification experience in CAMHS, paediatrics, or health psychology roles. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have a keen interest in working with young people, and aspire to develop specialist skills.
