There is an exciting opportunity for a highly enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join the commissioning team as the Senior Specialist Pharmacist - Sub-regional Immunoglobulin Assessment Panel.
You will work closely with regional teams, multidisciplinary teams (MDT), and clinical leads to develop initiatives and guidelines ensuring the safe and cost-effective use of medicines, particularly in the interface between secondary care and commissioners.
The role involves leading, delivering, developing, and evaluating a high-quality service, and coordinating the North Central London Immunoglobulin Assessment Panel (NCL SR-IAP). Responsibilities include managing high-cost drugs for relevant specialties and overseeing medication supply via homecare where appropriate.
