This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking pharmacist to join our Medicines Safety and Governance team. You will support the Medication Safety Programme, share learning from medication errors, and help to promote good governance across the organisation.
We’re an organisation that is progressing and improving, with recent achievements including opening two new theatres at our Elective Surgical Hub in King George Hospital (KGH). We operate from two main sites – KGH in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford. Our patients benefit from initiatives such as the Women’s Health Hub in Ilford, an Ageing Well Centre in Hornchurch, and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at Barking Community Hospital and St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub, open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
These CDCs provide an additional 94,000 scans a year. Our workforce of around 8,000 staff comes from 146 countries, with many working flexibly; over 400 are enrolled in Ofsted-accredited apprenticeship programmes.
