Have you got experience in working with children and young people with mental health difficulties? Do you have an interest in the impact of early trauma on mental health? Then this could be the post for you!

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic and innovative Senior Applied (Clinical / Counselling / Forensic) Psychologist to work closely with our small MDT in mental health services for Children in Care and Care Leavers (0-25 years) in Birmingham.

You will support the development and delivery of the Children in Care (CiC) and Care Leavers pathway within the service and working with multi-agency partners.

You will support FTB colleagues to develop formulation and intervention plans that help understand the impact of early trauma and support towards recovery. You will work extensively with multi-agency colleagues through consultations, training and collaborative approaches. There will be extensive liaison with FTB colleagues as well as a range of multi-agency colleagues to help address the complexity of needs around risk and mental health. You will manage a small case load and co-work with members of the team, offering supervision / line management to more junior staff .
