Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Band 8A Psychologist to join our NHS client in Blackpool, Lancashire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological support to veterans with complex mental health needs
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective care
• Travel to community locations as required (own car essential)
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation

Qualifications & Experience

• HCPC registration (essential)
• Experience working with veterans or individuals with complex mental health presentations
• Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills
• Must have access to own vehicle for community-based work
• Previous experience in a Band 8A Psychology role
