Job Description:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is recruiting for a Band 8a Principal Clinical Pharmacist (Education and Training) in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00am – 17:30pm. The role is available to start ASAP.

Banding: 8a

Location: Milton Keynes

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

  • Experienced Clinical Pharmacist with at least 5 years of experience and evidence of work within Education & Training
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Experience supervising/mentoring junior colleagues
  • GPHC registration
  • At least 2 years NHS experience

Duties:

  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and the multidisciplinary team
  • Lead and develop clinical/pharmaceutical audit and research
  • Manage and supervise Pharmacists, Pre-registration Pharmacists, and ward support technicians
  • Work flexibly across a 7-day rota
